I learned photography the old-fashioned way with chemistry and film with the traditional late nights in the darkroom. Some of the black and white images go back 35 years. Geographically, the images span across most of the Canadian Maritime provinces, Southern Spain, Sicily, Egypt, and the Southwestern United States.
Over time I became intrigued with some of the alternate photographic techniques and learning digital imaging was the precious gift that kept on giving. Ultimately every image evolves into a unique enterprise allowing for different treatment and expression. One image can live in my mind’s eye for extended periods, sometimes undergoing several incarnations before making it to print or web.
